Withstood the harsh and unforgiving blows

My clothes in half, photos in glass

Reflects my life that was in the past

A silent promise I couldn’t understand

This sealed memory in borrowed air

Where even silence pretends to care

My zipper stuck halfway, stubbornly tight

In a house that forgets what I call home at night

Yet in its yellow, a bright light

Refuses to fade, refuses to hide

For even broken roads lead somewhere

And new beginnings grow from thin air
